The Traveller's Reference (2.4.3-1.6)

The Traveller's Reference: A DataBroker Plugin

The Traveller's Reference is an easy to use guide to provide you with information about the current zone you're in, and pointers to other places you could go. This mod is also a DataBroker plugin, which means there are many ways in which you can display this information (see the section below for DataBroker information).

Here's the bulleted feature list.

The information display (see screenshot):

- Shows the zone you're currently in and the level-range of that zone is shown.
- The display style can be toggled between two modes via alt + click.
- Long display: Shows the zone, sub-zone in brackets, then the level-range.
- Short display: Shows the sub-zone if present, otherwise the zone, then the level-range.
- Shift + clicking the display will toggle showing the range.
- Control + clicking the display toggles plugin-dragging mode*.
- Clicking the display opens/closes the World Map.

* When in this mode, the tooltip is mode small and most click based operations are disabled. This is in order to make the plugin easier to drag into position.

The tooltip (see screenshot):

- A list of neighbouring zones (zones that border the one you're currently in).
- A list of instances within your level-range.
- A list of zones within your level-range.
- The level-ranges are colour-coded so they can be easily recognised at a glance.
- Holding shift makes the tooltip small, for ease of movement.

Credits

I'd like to thank Beoko, I helped work on his Navigator plugin and I learned a lot from doing so, some of that is present in The Traveller's Reference. Navigator was instrumental in helping me set foot down the road of DataBroker plugin creation in general, too. So really, kudos to him. Check out his Navigator mod!

What is DataBroker?

DataBroker is part of a system that's similar to FuBar and its plugins, what you have here is a plugin but you'll also need something to display the output of the plugin. You have many options for this, and I've listed a number of them below for your perusal, just pick the one that interests you the most.

If you want further information, that nice feller tekkub has put together some information on his wiki. And it's good information too, information that you should probably read if you're just getting into DataBroker plugins. (Not to mention that poor old tek puts these pages together and not many people seem to read them, so I thought I'd do my part to help remedy that situation. :p)
Mad Hatter: A DataBroker Plugin

Mad Hatter provides an icon that lets you easily hide/show your helm and cloak, these changes are preserved over sessions and saved on a per-character basis.

Left clicking on the icon toggles between hiding and showing your helm.
Opticon (2.4.3-0.7)

Opticon: A DataBroker Plugin

Opticon provides an icon that gives the user easy access to the Blizzard Options frame, both for the Game and Addon options tabs.

Left clicking on the icon opens and closes the Addons options tab.
Right clicking on the icon opens and closes the Game options tab.
Alt clicking on the icon opens the Niagara menu (if you have Niagara).
Shift clicking on the icon restarts the graphics renderer.
Control clicking on the icon reloads the user interface.

These two are exclusive of each other, if you left click to open the Addon options then you can't right click to close it as right click opens the Game options tab. However, using left click you can toggle the Addon options open/closed.

As a bonus, if you have the Niagara menu system installed (the premiere menu for mods based on the Ace2 framework), Opticon offer the option to open that too via Alt + Click (either mouse button).
Junkie (2.4.3-1.3)

Junkie: A DataBroker Plugin

Have you ever wanted an easy way to track the junk in your bag, and to be rid of it on demand? If so, then Junkie is for you. Take a look at the screenshots to see how it works.

To elaborate on what you're seeing there a little; Junkie basically seeks out the cheapest item in your bag and then displays that for you (along with the size of the item's stack and the overall price, taking the stack into account).

There are three options presented to you at this point...

Clicking temporarily ignores the item and moves onto the next cheapest.
Shift clicking clears the temporary ignore list.
Alt clicking drops the item.
Control clicking toggles the trash-only (considers only grey items) mode on/off.

The ignore list works a bit like an inverse shopping list, the idea is that once you've gotten rid of the items you want, you can just toss the list. What constitutes junk will actually change for you as time goes on, whether you've reached max level or not. So having a permanent list to deal with can be fiddly, Junkie is designed to get away from those headaches. In Junkie, you can scroll through your junk with shift-click, and get rid of the bits you don't want with alt-click. Once you're done with that, the list can be reset with control-click (and the list is never saved over sessions). That's why I consider it being like a shopping list and different to the junk-destroying mods which have come before.

Things to Consider

Junkie doesn't do everything under the sun, nor is it designed to. It's designed to handle destroying junk items in your bag when you need to. If you're curious about mods that sell junk, I've listed a few below.

If you want a mod to sell all your junk (grey items)...

Haggler: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info10658-Haggler.html

If you want a mod to build your own sell-list of items...

SellOut: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9298-SellOut.html
Haggler: A DataBroker Plugin

This plugin is designed to have one purpose, when you're at a vendor you can click the Haggler icon to sell your junk. When you're not at the vendor the Haggler icon hides for the sake of convenience, as to not take up space in your UI.

When selling greys, each item is reported along with its count and the amount of money you receive from that sale, and when all the selling is done the total amount of cash you gained from getting rid of all those greys is presented to you aswell.
Hoi!

Have you ever accidentally clicked on "Release Spirit" while having a soulstone on you? Do you know people who have?

To prevent thousands *cough* of unneccesary wipes, I have written this simple addon, that greys out the "Release Spirit" button for ten seconds if you have either a soulstone or can use you Rebirth ability.

For those of us who look at their ressources: This addon simply modifies an existing dialog, therefore using next to no memory and no CPU time.

Comments are very welcome!
PanoShot assists in the creation of panoramic screenshots.

/panoshot - Rotates the view while taking screenshots.
/oneshot - Take a single screenshot.

Panoshot does not stitch the images for you, so you will need panoramic stitching software to do this for you. Also, it is suggested that you zoom into first person view when taking the screenshots.

Panoshot will turn off player/npcs names, rotate the camera, and take the actual screenshots.
oUF Experience (r6)

Description:
This is a plug-in for oUF, so in order to make this plug-in work, you would need to download that.
You can find a link under the big download button to the right.

This is a plug-in to show a simple xp bar with oUF.

Features:
Can display a bar and text representing your experience.
If player is at max level the bar cluster is hidden

Note:
To use this in your oUF layout you will need a Experience member on your oUF unit object (self)

Example code:
if(unit == 'player') then
self.Experience = CreateFrame('StatusBar', nil, self)
self.Experience:SetPoint('TOP', self, 'BOTTOM', 0, -10)
self.Experience:SetStatusBarTexture(texture)
self.Experience:SetStatusBarColor(0, 1, 0)
self.Experience:SetHeight(11)
self.Experience:SetWidth(230)
end

This will place your xp bar below the player frame (as seen on picture)

You can also add things like a value text on it, like this
self.Experience.text = self.Experience:CreateFontString(nil, 'OVERLAY')
self.Experience.text:SetPoint('CENTER', self.Experience)
self.Experience.text:SetFontObject(GameFontNormalSmall)
self.Experience.text:SetTextColor(1, 1, 1)
self.Experience.text:SetJustifyH('LEFT')

This will place a value text above the xp bar (also shown on pic)

You can also add a rested bar below the experience bar
self.Experience.rested = CreateFrame('StatusBar', nil, self)
self.Experience.rested:SetAllPoints(self.Experience)
self.Experience.rested:SetStatusBarTexture(texture)
self.Experience.rested:SetStatusBarColor(0, 0, 1, 0.5)

Note!: Set the alpha as the 4th parameter in :SetStatusBarColor, else it will turn all children's alpha down too

Want more details? Just enable the tooltip!
self.Experience.tooltip = true

Todo:
Add pet xp bar

nUI Beta 2 (v2.02.00 (Beta))

nUI is a user interface replacement. 100% standalone code designed to feel like Bliz meant the UI to look this way. nUI removes a ton of clutter from the display, provides detailed targeting information, an integrated HUD, cooldowns and more.

In the long run, it is intended as an alternative to a pile of add-ons such as custom unit frames, custom action bars, HUDs, minimap mods and so on. It is *NOT* the intention of this mod to be compatible with every other mod that exists. In many cases, it is the intention of this mod to replace other third party mods with a single tightly integrated and efficient mod.

There are many features built into nUI, please take the time to read this description and notes so you are aware of the available features and options! In addition, I do try to keep accurate notes about changes made in each release and known bugs. Please review patch notes and known issues when you have questions.

Currently supports integration of MobInfo-2, Recount, Omen2, KLH Threat Meter and Threat 2.0

How you can help support nUI's continued development: Your contribution of $5, $10, $20 or more to support the ongoing development of nUI would be greatly appreciated. Click here to make a donation now, please?! Lastly, please vote for nUI and add it to your favorites list... it helps nUI get more exposure. Thanks for your support!

This is the first public Beta release of nUI. It is known to have some issues and feedback is requested. Please bring your comments, suggestions and bug reports to the author's attention at one of the official support sites listed below or via e-mail to
============ INSTALLATION NOTES =============

There are no special installation requirements for this mod. Like any other mod, download the ZIP file and unzip its contents (with directory names intact) into your World of Warcraft "interface\addons" directory... for Windows users that typically that would be

* C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

There is no configuration required. However, you can use /nui to get a list of the slash commands nUI understands (also documented below)

The only special consideration during installation is what mods, if any, you have currently installed that nUI will be replacing. nUI has several key feature sets that may require you to disable mods you already have installed. If you have a mod installed that provides...

* custom casting bars
* customized action bars
* a HUD (heads up display)
* Out of range, out of mana indicators
* Cooldown watchers, buff/debuff frames
* Minimap button managers / button bags
* customized unit frames (player, pet, target, etc)

... then I would suggest you consider disabling them to use the ones built into nUI.

See INSTALL.txt for more detailing installation instructions

============ Dashboard Scaling ================

By default, the nUI dashboard should exactly fit across your screen's width. The "gap" between the left edge of the chat window frame, the right edge of the information frame (where the battlefield map and bag bar are at present) and the bottom of both of those regions should be equal.

If you have open air to the left or right of the dashboard or part of the chat frame and information frame (as well as the bag bar) are chopped off, then you will need to adjust your nUI scale. By default, nUI should accurately detect your screen resolution and fit itself neatly within the display area.

If you find the nUI scale calculated incorrectly for the display resolution you use, or you have a burning desire to make nUI smaller, you can correct that by using the slash command "/nui scale {n}" where {n} is some number between 0.5 and 1.5 -- the higher the number, the wider the nUI dashboard will become and visa versa. You can use "/nui scale 0" to return to the default scale for the current resolution at any time.

============= MINIMAP BUTTON FIX ==============

If you encounter non-Blizzard minimap buttons that the button bag does not manage, please leave me a note with the name of the mod that causes the problem and I'll try to fix it in the next release. It also helps if you e-mail me your WTF\Account\{your account}\SavedVariables\nUI.lua file as it contains logging information I can use to identify the button. You can e-mail me at kscottpiel@gmail.com

============= PLAYER CASTING BAR ==============

I bring this up as a separate subject because some people are unclear on what all the "action" is in the HUD's player casting bar...

The player casting bar is made up of four components: 1) the player's own spell casts and channels which is the main part of the bar. 2) Directly above the player's casting bar is the smaller pet casting bar 3) Immediately below the player casting bar is what some describe as "a ball on a string" which is the global cooldown indicator (GCD) and, 4) at the bottom of the player casting bar is a blue latency bar.

The two key items in the bar are the GCD and the latency bar. The GCD is critical... as long as it is being displayed, you cannot cast another spell of any type. Once you get used to seeing the GCD out of the corner of your eye, you'll become adept at casting your spells efficiently without spamming the keyboard (or mouse). Learning to time your spell casts will actually improve game performance over spamming.

The latency bar is the most valuable to you in terms of getting the most bang for your buck when casting spells. Without getting technical, there's a time delay between when you press a key (or click) to cast a spell and when Blizzard actually starts the spell cast and notifies you back. That delay is "latency" and you can use it to your advantage. In short, if you know the delay between when you click to cast a spell and when Blizzard becomes aware of your click, then you can actually cast your spells early and get away with it. That is what the latency bar is for.

If you pay attention, you'll notice the latency bar actually moves slightly ahead of your casting bar. That "lead" is the time delay between when you start a cast and when Blizzard becomes aware of it. Presuming the GCD has expired, if you watch the latency bar you can actually start your next cast the instant it finishes even though your last cast appears to still be underway.

You make your next cast based on when the blue latency bar finishes rather than the actual casting bar. Using this casting strategy will actually allow you to squeeze off more casts in less time than without the latency bar.

Learn to feel the GCD and to "relax" while the GCD is spinning and be ready to hit your next spell the instant the latency bar expires and you'll find yourself playing far more efficiently.

============= IN-HUD HEALTH RACE BAR ==============

The top bar in the HUD, directly below the player character on screen is the nUI Health Race bar (which is only visible when you are targeting a player or mob that you can attack). This bar is made up of four components... the bar itself, a player health button at the top left, a target health button at the top right and a relative health button (the race button) at the bottom center. In short, this single bar gives a quick view of the player's health and target's health relative to their individual maximums as well as their percent health relative to one another.

At full health, the player health button is to the far left edge of the bar and the target health button to the far right... as either the player's health or the target's health declines, their respective buttons will move toward the center of the bar. The first one to the middle loses! ~smile~ You can mouse over either button to see the name of the player or mob and their current health status. At a glance, both buttons show their health as a percentage of their maximums.

The key button is the relative health button at the bottom of the bar. This button measures the relative health of the player (as a percent of the player's maximum) as compared to the relative health of the target (as a percent of the target's maximum). When the button is at the center of the bar, then the player and target have the same relative health. If the player's percentage of their maximum health is higher than the target's, the relative health button will move left of center. If the target's health is higher as a percentage of its maximum as compared to the player's percentage of total health, the button moves to the right.

The further left of center the bottom button moves, the higher the player's health relative to the target's and visa versa. You can mouse over the bottom button to see the player's health stats, the target's health stats and their relative health. A relative health of +100 means the player is at full health and the target at or near death in which case the bottom button will be to the far left of the bar and the bar color will be bright green. A relative health of -100 means the target is at full health the player at or near death and the bar will be colored bright red. If both the target and player are at near equal health as a percentage of their maximums, the button will be at the center and the bar colored yellow.

============ THE INFORMATION PANEL ============

In the lower right corner of the nUI dashboard is an information display panel. This panel is intended to give you easy access to information while preserving valuable display area.

The panel is controlled by the information mode button located directly above it. By default, when you first install nUI, the button will be set to “Map” and the battlefield minimap will be displayed along with your minimap button bag. Clicking on the button that says “Map” will cycle the information panel through the rest of the modes it supports.

At a minimum, the information panel contains your battlefield minimap, your party (group) panel and the raid panel. If you have Recount, KLH Threat Meter and/or Omen2 installed, you will also find their displays in the list of panels you can cycle through.

The following is a listing of currently supported information modes…

* Map -- The battlefield minimap.

This map shows your current objectives in PvP areas and well as the location of your party and group members in the current zone. You can click on the battlefield minimap or press “Shift-M” at any time to open an enlarged view of the map. The expanded battlefield minimap is compatible with most world map add-ons like QuestHelper, Mozz Full World Map, etc. Clicking the battlefield minimap a second time (or pressing “Shift-M” a second time) will close the expanded map.

* Party – Your party/group information

This information mode shows the “unit frames” for all of your party members as well as their pets and targets. There are four rows in the display, one for each party member. In each row, the party member is shown on the left side and their pet, if they have one, on the right side. You will note there is blank space to the left, right and below each party member. The space on the left will display any debuffs that have been placed on the party member, the space to the right shows their current buffs and the space directly below the party member shows who they currently have targeted (if anyone). Pet buffs and debuffs are not displayed. However, the pet’s target is shown directly below the pet. Group member targets and pet targets are clickable, you can target any party member’s target by clicking the name panel of their target.

* Raid -- Your current raid members

The raid panel is organized in up to 8 rows of five members each standard raid group up to 40 man raids. These are all standard raid frames and support all of the normal unit actions such as click to target, spell casting. etc.

* Stats -- Recount combat statistics

Recount is a third party add-on that provides very detailed damage meters, DPS, healing, etc. nUI integrates Recount into the information panel providing intelligent management of its display when combined with KLH Threat Meter and/or Omen2 as will be explained later. However, in “Stats” information mode, the Recount panel is displayed full-time regardless of your combat status. All of the Recount standard functionality is available.

* KTM -- The KLH Threat Meter

If you have KLH installed, nUI will integrate it into the information display in the same manner as described for Recount. When you select the KTM information mode you will first note two small buttons that appear directly below the information mode button (to the left and right). The small button the right gives you access to KLH’s configuration panel and the button on the left allows you to set the main target.

If you have Recount installed, you will note that even when you select the “KTM” information mode, nUI shows you the Recount damage meters. This is not an error. Threat meters have no meaning when you are not in combat and damage meters are of limited value while you are in combat (plus you can view damage meters full time by selecting the “Stats” info mode). So, when you enter combat in “KTM” info mode, nUI will automatically hide the Recount damage meters and show you the KLH threat meter. As soon as you leave combat, nUI will hide the threat meter and display Recount’s damage meters again. This automatic swapping provides you the most useful information at that time. If you do not have Recount installed, then the KTM information panel will be blank when out of combat.

* Omen -- The Ace Library Threat 2.0 based threat meter Omen2

nUI treats Omen2 in the exact same way that it treats KTM. When the “Omen” information mode is selected, a small button will appear to the lower right of the information mode button giving you access to the Omen2 configuration options. As with KLH Threat Meter, the Omen2 panel is only displayed while in combat. If Recount is not installed, the Omen information panel will be blank while out of combat, otherwise the Recount damage meters will be displayed while out of combat.

* A note on the threat meter information panel modes --

nUI currently integrates Omen2/Threat 2.0 directly into the nUI HUD and will soon integrate KLH into the HUD as well. If you have Omen2 installed (or you have Threat 2.0 installed stand-alone) nUI will show you the most critical threat information directly on that threat bar in the center of the HUD. (For more on that, see the notes on the “Integrated Threat Meter” below) That said, I would argue that there’s no real good reason for using the “Omen” information mode (or the “KTM” mode when that integration is completed) in typical game play. While it’s nice to watch the bars move, the key information regarding who has agro, your threat (and your pet’s threat) relative to the tank, the highest threat other than the tank as well as the agro gain are all displayed in the HUD. You are better served to select the party or raid information modes and use the HUD to track your threat.

=========== IN-GAME SLASH COMMANDS ============

-- /nui help (or just /nui)

Displays a listing of available slash commands and a brief description of each

-- /nui rl

Should you encounter an issue with your user interface not displaying correctly or wish to reload your AddOns for any reason, you can use the "/nui rl" slash command to have WoW reload all of your AddOns and rebuild your user interface. This is a shortcut alternative to "/console reloadui"

-- /nui clickcast

By default nUI registers all unit frames for click casting to provide compatibility with mods like Clique, Decursive, etc. However, some users may prefer to disable this ability for use with mods such as Grid. The "/nui clickcast" command will toggle this functionality on and off.

-- /nui race

This option toggles the display of the in-HUD Health Race bar on and off.

-- /nui petfoods

Produces a list of all foods that are valid for the player's current hunter pet including the name, food type, level and how many are in current inventory (excluding bank inventory). This option only applies to hunters.

-- /nui feedpet

Opens a window containing clickable buttons for all of the available pet foods in inventory (excluding bank inventory) for the current pet. Click any button to feed your pet. You can also feed yout pet by clicking the happiness indicator in the unit frames. This option only applies to hunters.

-- /nui movers

nUI manages several of the default Blizzard frames. Among these are the durability frame, the quest timer frame, the world state frames and capture bars (used in Battlegrounds and PvP zones), the action bars, the in-game tooltips, etc. The "/nui movers" option toggles dragging and relocating these frames on and off. Use "/nui movers" once to enable dragging, drag the managed frames to the location you want for them, then use "/nui movers" a second time to lock the frames in their new locations.

-- /nui tooltips {default|fixed|owner|mouse}

By default, nUI locates tooltips according to the standard Blizzard default with the exception of placing unanchored tooltips just above the top right side of the nUI dashboard (Blizzard normally places those tooltips in the bottom right corner of your display). This option allows you to change how nUI manages the in-game tooltips. The "/nui tooltips default" option completely disables all nUI management of in-game tooltips while "/nui tooltips fixed" locates ALL in-game tooltips at the top right of the dashboard. The "/nui tooltips owner" will attempt to locate tooltips near the frame that owns the tooltip (such as an action button or a bag slot) and the "/nui tooltips mouse" option will attempt to locate all tooltips at or near the current mouse position.

-- /nui bagscale {n}

nUI has a built in bag scaling feature that will automatically resize your bags to ensure all bags are visible even when opening every bag you own at the bank. When all bags will display without scaling, nUI will use the default Blizzard bag size. If you would prefer to have your bags larger or smaller than the default, use the "/nui bagscale {n}" option to change the scaling where {n} is a number greater than zero (0). If {n} is less than one, your open bags will be smaller than the Blizzard default, if {n} is greater than one, the bags will be larger. This allows you to use the Blizzard in-game UI scaling feature to modify the size of quest frames, profession frames, etc., and use the "/nui bagscale" to override that scaling specifically for your bags.

-- /nui yofs {n}

This option moves the nUI dashboard (the bottom panel of your display) up by {n} from the bottom of the screen. This allows for placing bars such as Titan or Fubar at the bottom of the screen without having them overlap nUI's dashboard. {n} should be some number greater than zero (0) to move the dashboard up or zero (0) to attach the dashboard to the bottom of the screen. A typical example might be "/nui yofs 24" which is about the right value to allow for a single Titan bar at the bottom of the display.

-- /nui yofs2 {n}

This option moves the nUI console (the top panel of your display) down by {n} from the top of the screen. As with "/nui yofs", this allows for placing bars at the top of the display and {n} should be some number greater than or equal to zero (0).

-- /nui fontsize {n}

This option sets the font size used in the default chat frame and combat log and provides for much greater flexibility in selecting a font size than Blizzard allows by default. {n} should be a number greater than zero (0) with the font size increasing as {n} increases. The default font size is 12.

-- /nui scale {n}

This option controls the scaling of the nUI dashboard to assist in fitting the dashboard inside the horizontal width of your display. Should the dashboard be too wide or two small for your display, you can alter the dashboard's width using the command "/nui scale {n}" where {n} is some number between 0.5 and 1.5 -- The larger {n} gets, the wider the nUI dashboard will become. Setting {n} to 0 will return the dashboard scale to nUI's built in default.

-- /nui clock {12|24|0}

The clock option allows choosing between displaying a 12 hour clock or a 24 hour clock above the Minimap on the nUI dashboard. By default, nUI uses a 12 hour clock, using "/nui clock 24" will switch the display mode to 24 hours. Setting the clock to "0" will disable it entirely.

-- /nui coords

nUI normally displays the player coordinates on the dashboard (just above the minimap) updating as the player moves around in the world. The "/nui coords" command toggles the player coordinate display on and off.

-- /nui buttonbag

By default, nUI seeks to collect all of the minimap buttons displayed around your minimap into a single organized button bag on the right side of the information panel. The "/nui buttonbag" option allows you to toggle this behavior on and off. Toggling this option requires and results in a console reload.

-- /nui anim

nUI uses animated models on the primary and party member unit frames when the unit is visible and still portraits when the unit is out of visible range. The "/nui anim" option can be used to toggle the animated unit frames on and off. Use once to force the use of still frames, a second time to return to using animated models.

-- /nui hide

This option hides the nUI dashboard, console and other elements without hiding the UI elements that nUI does not manage.

-- /nui show

Redisplays the nUI dashboard, console and other elements after having been hidden

-- /nui zoom

Toggles an expanded view of the default chat frame. This is quite useful when trying to review your combat log or review chat history.

-- /nui mmzoom {show|hide}

This option toggles display of the zoom buttons on and off on the MiniMap. By default these buttons are displayed, however, if you have a mouse wheel, you may prefer to hide these buttons and just use the mouse wheel to zoom your Minimap in and out. Use "/nui mmzoom" once to turn the button display off, use it a second time to turn the button display back on.

-- /nui console {show|fade}

The nUI console is located at the top of the display with the Blizzard micro-menu and your latency/framerate meters in it. By default the console will fade out shortly after you enter the world and only appear when you mouse over it then to fade back out after the mouse leaves the console. The "/nui console show" command will disable the fading function and make the nUI console always visible. "/nui console fade" will restore it to its default behavior of hiding the console when not in use.

-- /nui debug {n}

This option is for development and debugging use and is generally of limited or no value to the player

-- /nui stats

Aside from the default Blizzard in-game profiling of AddOns, nUI supports more detailed reporting on its own performance. By default this feature is disabled due to the added load it places on the game engine. However, should you want to see this information, use "/nui stats" once to enable the feature and then use "/nui stats" at any later time to receive a report on nUI's CPU and memory usage. Note the stats reported will be skewed slightly by the fact that the profiling engine is enabled.

-- /nui nostats

This option disables the detailed CPU and memory usage profiling. If you have used "/nui stats" to begin detailed profiling, you can use "/nui nostats" to disable profiling. It has no meaning otherwise.

========== INTEGRATED THREAT METER ============

nUI now has an integrated single target threat meter in the HUD. This meter may be based on Omen2 (or the Threat-2.0 library without Omen2 installed). The integrated HUD threat meter is comprised of a bar located directly below the player character on screen which will be colored according to the critical threat level.

The center point in the bar is the threat level of the character that currently holds the target's agro, typically the tank or player’s pet. The left edge of the bar is equivalent to zero threat and the right edge of the bar is equivalent to twice the threat level of the current agro holder. The remaining features depend on whether the player, the player's pet or a party member has agro at that time and whether or not the player is in a party, a group and/or has a pet.

You can mouse over any tab on the in-HUD threat meter to see a tooltip with the name of the party member the tab refers to and their threat level.

Regardless of all else, if the player does not have a pet, is not in a party and is not in a raid, the threat meter will not be displayed. Otherwise, the threat meter will only display if and when the player, the player's pet or party members are in combat. While in combat, if the player currently has agro, the message "~AGGRO~" appears directly above the threat meter. If the player's pet has agro, then the message "~PET AGGRO~" will appear directly above the threat meter. Otherwise, the name of the party/raid member who current has agro is displayed.

The amount of threat estimated to be required to pull agro on the target is indicated by a red tab to the right of center on the threat bar. This value represents 110% of the threat level of the current agro holder if the player is in melee range, otherwise it is 130% of their threat level

If the player does not currently have agro, the player's threat level is indicated by a light blue tab moving left to right on the top edge of the threat bar and the bar will color from green to red depending on how high the player's threat is relative to the current agro holder's threat. If the player is in melee range, the bar will color full yellow at 90% of the agro holder's threat and full red at 110% of the agro holder's threat. Otherwise, the bar will color full yellow at 70% of the agro holder's threat and red at 130%. If the player is not in a party or a raid and the player has pulled agro from their pet, the bar will always color red. The player tab is not displayed when the player holds the target's agro.

If the player's pet does not currently have agro, then the pet's threat is indicated by a light blue tab moving left to right on the bottom edge of the threat bar. The threat bar does not ever color according to the pet's threat level. The pet's tab is not displayed when the pet holds the target's agro.

The party/raid member with the highest threat level other than the player, the player's pet and the current agro holder is indicated by a purple tab moving left to right along the top edge of the threat bar indicating their threat relative to the current agro holder's threat. If the player currently holds agro, then the bar will color according to that other player's threat relative to the player's own threat. For tanks, this will indicate how "at risk" that player is for pulling agro from you. If the player is soloing with a pet, or no other party/raid members have threat, this tab will not be displayed.

If the player does not currently hold agro, then the position of the player's threat indicator relative to the party/group member's threat indicator is a hint of what may be expected if the tank's agro is wiped (i.e. a fear, etc.). In this event, threat can be expected to pass to whichever one is closest to the current agro holder's threat at the time of the agro wipe. If the player's blue marker is left of the party member's purple marker, the party member will most likely gain the target's agro, otherwise the player will likely gain the target's agro.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar with how to use a threat meter, here are some "strategy" notes to get you started.

Main tank: your goal is to always hold the agro. If you see your "~AGGRO~" message replaced by another player name above the threat meter, you've lost agro and need to intervene, taunt and regain (for Warrior tanks, obviously). The closer the other party/raid member's threat indicator gets to the center of the meter, the more at risk for losing agro you are. If their threat is right of center, agro loss is imminent. If their threat is at or right of the red agro gain marker, you need to take action now or be ready to react at any moment.

Off tank: when dual tanking mobs, the off-tank is seeking to keep their blue threat indicator between the next highest party/raid member's purple threat indicator and the center of the meter (the main tank's threat). If you begin to exceed the main tanks threat (your marker is right of center), you need to back down your threat generation or you risk pulling agro from the main tank. As a rule, you want your threat marker as close to left of center as possible. If a party/raid member's threat indicator is between your indicator and center, they will gain the target's agro if the main tank's agro is wiped... you need to step up your threat generation and/or get them to back off their own.

DPS/CC/Healers: As a rule... you always want to keep your threat left of center on the meter. Right of center you are at high risk of pulling agro from the tank and to the right of the agro gain indicator you are nearly certain to pull agro at any moment and should immediately feign death, fade, vanish, whatever you can do to clear your threat. If you are working with an off-tank, then you should keep your threat level to the left of both the center and the purple party/raid member indicator (which we would hope to be the off-tank's threat). If your threat level is between then purple party/raid member indicator and center, then you will gain agro if the main tank's agro is wiped. Back your threat down and get your threat marker left of the purple marker.

Aura Unit Frames (0.22.1)

Aura Unit Frames

New unit frames that are currently in development.

Whats my goal with this? Well my plan is to create an addon that will allow the user to highly customise their UI, along the same lines as Discord unit frames allowed, but without all the extra stuff that comes with DUF, that in my opinion, makes it too bulky.

Aims

* To make the addon easy to use, yet have a high degree of scalability and customizability
* To make sure only things that are needed and actually to do with unit frames are added/included in the addon
* Make sure everything in the addons options are clear to use and understand. So that you don't need to spend 4 weeks learning how to move the frames around

Addon is now in beta

Basic functionality is now added. The next step is adding in the customizability.

Command to lock and unlock frames added.

Just type "/AUF unlock" to start moving em
and "/AUF lock" will keep em in place afterwards

UPDATE: Added the upto date file now sorry about that :S

PolMonitor (1.1.14.20400)

This addon helps you make sure you have all the buffs you should have, that your target and focus target have the debuffs they should have, and that you're using your spell and item cooldowns as often as possible. It does this by letting you set up monitors for the buffs, debuffs, spells/skills and items you're interested in. The monitors appear visually as standard action buttons on the screen.

When everything is ok (you have the monitored buff, your target has the debuff, the cooldown is running, ..) the corresponding button is faded out. When something is missing or the cooldown is up the button becomes fully opaque, signaling that something needs to be done. Buttons that represent skills/spells/items you have can be clicked to trigger the appropriate action.

Use /polmonitor to configure.
